Individual Tutoring
X-CEL provides individual tutoring services designed to meet the needs of the individual child. These services are generally provided in a 3 to 1 ratio of students to teacher. The student is guaranteed a minimum of 20 minutes of one-on-one interaction with the teacher during a one-hour tutorial session. This individual attention is a proven factor in achievement improvement for children regardless of their ages.

Individual tutorial services include:
- Instruction from a certified teacher
- Student feedback exercises with paper and pencil
- Computerized instruction
- Computerized practice skills

Group Tutoring
X-CEL has operated summer camps since the summer of 1996. During the summer camps, groups of no more than six (6) students per teacher receive instruction in reading, writing, and math. The instruction received by each student is at his/her academic level based upon an Individual Education Plan (IEP).

In addition to the summer camp, small group instruction is also provided in reading and math at various school and church locations in the Memphis area. The small group tutorial services are a proven price performer. Students have advanced one grade level and more during a summer camp session.
