			Individual Skills Assessment -  Standardized assessment in multiple skill areas -  Observation by an Experienced Counselor -  Pinpoints student’s strengths and weaknesses -  The basis for development of the Individual Education Plan (IEP)         The IEP is the prescription for the student’s academic success X-CEL uses several standardized test instruments to determine your child’s level in multiple skills areas for each subject.  This assessment coupled with the experience of the counselor pinpoints your child’s strengths and weaknesses to facilitate the development of IEP.  The IEP is the basis for all of the education services provided to your child.  Using the IEP, our trained teachers can provide the instruction needed to build skills deficiencies, identified during the assessment, to facilitate your child’s ability to perform at or above grade level within a shorter time  period.
